Real-Time Collaboration

AUDIGYD supports real-time collaboration, allowing multiple respondents to work on the same assessment simultaneously.

Presence Indicators

When multiple people are viewing or editing the same assessment:

  • Avatar badges appear at the top showing who's currently active
  • Color-coded cursors show which question each person is working on
  • Status indicators show whether someone is actively typing or idle

Field Locking

To prevent conflicts when two people try to answer the same question:

  • When someone starts editing a question, it's temporarily locked for others
  • A lock icon and the editor's name appear on the locked question
  • The lock is released when the person moves to a different question or after a brief timeout
  • You can still view locked questions but cannot edit them until they're unlocked

How Concurrent Editing Works

1.Each respondent can work on different domains simultaneously
2.Changes are saved and synced in real-time
3.Progress updates are reflected for all active users
4.The completion percentage updates as questions are answered by any respondent

Best Practices for Team Collaboration

  • Divide and conquer — Assign different domains to different team members
  • Communicate — Use your team's communication tools to coordinate who handles what
  • Check progress — Monitor the overall progress to avoid duplicate work
  • Sequential review — Have one person review all answers before submission for consistency

Offline Behavior

If you lose your internet connection:

  • Your recent changes are saved locally
  • When reconnected, changes sync automatically
  • If conflicts occur, the most recent change takes priority
  • A notification alerts you if any sync issues are detected
