5.Optionally add a description for each file

File Size Limits

  • Per file: 100 MB maximum
  • Per question: No limit on number of files
  • Per assessment: Subject to your plan's storage limits

Managing Uploaded Files

After uploading, you can:

  • View uploaded files and their descriptions
  • Download files you've uploaded
  • Delete files before submission
  • Replace files by deleting and re-uploading

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive file names (e.g., "Access-Control-Policy-v2.1.pdf" instead of "document.pdf")
  • Add descriptions explaining what the evidence demonstrates
  • Upload the most relevant and current version of documents
  • Ensure files don't contain unnecessary sensitive information
  • Check that uploaded files are readable and not corrupted

PII Considerations

Uploaded files are scanned for personally identifiable information (PII). If PII is detected, you'll receive a warning. Review the flagged content and either redact the PII or confirm that it's appropriate to include.
