Template Settings & Metadata
Every template has settings and metadata that provide context and configure behavior.
Basic Settings
- •Name — A clear, descriptive name for the template
- •Description — What this template assesses and its intended use
- •Framework — The compliance framework it maps to (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
- •Version — Automatically managed version number
Compliance Configuration
- •Compliance Threshold — The minimum score percentage for compliance (e.g., 80%)
- •Scoring Strategy — How scores are calculated (Weighted Average, Equal Weight, Highest Risk)
- •Critical Gates — Questions that must pass for compliance
Metadata Fields
Additional metadata helps organize and categorize templates:
- •Tags — Labels for easy filtering and search
- •Category — General category (Security, Privacy, Risk, etc.)
- •Estimated Duration — Expected time for respondents to complete
- •Target Audience — Who this template is designed for
Accessing Template Settings
1.Open the template in the builder or detail view
2.Click Settings or the gear icon
3.Modify settings as needed
4.Changes are saved automatically for draft templates
