Finalizing an Assessment
Finalization is the final step in the assessment lifecycle. It locks scores and generates the official report.
What Finalization Does
When you finalize an assessment:
1.All scores are permanently locked
2.A final scoring report is generated
3.A compliance certificate is issued (if the score meets the threshold)
4.The assessment status changes to Finalized
5.No further changes can be made to verdicts, scores, or findings
When to Finalize
Finalize when:
- •All questions have been reviewed and have verdicts
- •All findings have been documented
- •You're satisfied with the accuracy of the review
- •Stakeholders are ready to receive the final report
Important: Finalization Is Irreversible
Once finalized, an assessment cannot be reopened or modified. This ensures the integrity and auditability of the results. Make sure:
- •All verdicts are correct
- •All findings are documented
- •You've added all necessary reviewer notes
- •The scores accurately reflect your assessment
How to Finalize
1.Complete the review of all questions
2.Verify that all critical gate questions have been evaluated
3.Click Finalize Assessment
4.Read the confirmation dialog carefully
5.Confirm by clicking Finalize
After Finalization
- •The scoring report is available for download
- •The compliance certificate (if applicable) can be generated
- •All stakeholders are notified
- •The assessment appears in historical analytics and trend reports
