Applying Verdicts
As a reviewer, you evaluate each response and apply verdicts that determine the assessment's score.
What Are Verdicts?
A verdict is your judgment on whether a respondent's answer adequately addresses the question:
- •Pass — The response satisfactorily demonstrates compliance
- •Fail — The response is insufficient, incorrect, or missing evidence
How to Apply Verdicts
1.Open the assessment in review mode
2.For each question, review the respondent's answer and any evidence
3.Click Pass or Fail
4.Add reviewer notes explaining your decision (recommended)
5.Move to the next question
AI-Suggested Scores
If AI scoring is enabled, you'll see suggested scores:
- •The AI analyzes the response against the question criteria
- •A suggested verdict and confidence level are displayed
- •You can accept the AI suggestion or override it
- •Your verdict always takes precedence over AI suggestions
Overriding AI Scores
To override an AI suggestion:
1.Review the AI's suggested verdict and reasoning
2.Click the verdict you believe is correct
3.Add a note explaining why you disagree with the AI
4.The override is recorded for audit trail purposes
Reviewer Notes
Best practices for reviewer notes:
- •Explain your reasoning, especially for failures
- •Reference specific evidence or lack thereof
- •Note any concerns even for passing verdicts
- •Be constructive — notes may be visible to respondents
Bulk Actions
For efficiency, you can:
- •Apply the same verdict to multiple questions in a control area
- •Accept all AI suggestions and then review exceptions
- •Filter questions by verdict status to find unreviewed items
