Understand how team seats work and how they affect your billing.
How Seats Work
Each active member in your workspace occupies one seat:
- •Free plan: 3 seats included
- •Pro plan: Unlimited seats included in the base price
- •Enterprise plan: Custom seat allocation
Adding Seats (Free Plan)
On the Free plan, you're limited to 3 seats. To add more:
1.Upgrade to the Pro plan for unlimited team members
2.Or remove existing members to free up seats
Managing Active Seats
View your current seat usage:
1.Go to Billing in the sidebar
2.See "Team Members" showing current/maximum seats
3.Or go to Members to see individual member details
Removing Members to Free Seats
When you remove a member:
- •Their seat is freed immediately
- •You can invite someone new to fill the seat
- •Historical data from the removed member is preserved
Cost Implications
- •Free plan: No cost for up to 3 seats
- •Pro plan: Flat rate includes unlimited seats
- •Enterprise plan: Pricing may be per-seat; contact sales for details
Tips
- •Remove inactive members regularly to optimize seat usage on the Free plan
- •The Pro plan is more cost-effective for teams larger than 3
- •Enterprise customers should discuss seat-based pricing with their account manager
- •Pending invitations do not count toward your seat limit until accepted
