Understanding Assessment Status

Assessments move through several statuses during their lifecycle. Understanding these helps you track progress.

Status Lifecycle

1. Draft

  • Assessment has been created but not yet activated
  • You can still modify settings and assignments
  • Respondents cannot begin answering yet

2. In Progress

  • Assessment is active and respondents can submit answers
  • Progress is tracked in real-time
  • The due date countdown is active

3. Submitted

  • All assigned respondents have submitted their answers
  • The assessment is ready for review
  • No further changes can be made by respondents

4. Under Review

  • A reviewer is actively evaluating responses
  • Verdicts are being applied to questions
  • Findings may be created for identified gaps

5. Finalized

  • Review is complete and scores are locked
  • A scoring report is generated
  • Compliance certificate is issued (if score meets threshold)
  • No further changes can be made
