Understanding Assessment Status
Assessments move through several statuses during their lifecycle. Understanding these helps you track progress.
Status Lifecycle
1. Draft
- •Assessment has been created but not yet activated
- •You can still modify settings and assignments
- •Respondents cannot begin answering yet
2. In Progress
- •Assessment is active and respondents can submit answers
- •Progress is tracked in real-time
- •The due date countdown is active
3. Submitted
- •All assigned respondents have submitted their answers
- •The assessment is ready for review
- •No further changes can be made by respondents
4. Under Review
- •A reviewer is actively evaluating responses
- •Verdicts are being applied to questions
- •Findings may be created for identified gaps
5. Finalized
- •Review is complete and scores are locked
- •A scoring report is generated
- •Compliance certificate is issued (if score meets threshold)
- •No further changes can be made
Status Transitions

Monitoring Status

- •Filter assessments by status
- •The dashboard shows counts by status
- •Notifications are sent at each status change
